Vermont's summer season is a feast for the senses. Cooler by several degrees than NYC, and swimming holes make life even cooler (and splashier). The lush greenery is not only gorgeous to behold but also feels great between the toes when playing a game of catch on our lodge's expansive lawn. Locavore restaurants, farms and craft workshops welcome you in with open arms. In short, Vermont in summer is just as stimulating as it is in winter! Let the SSC make it easy to explore the Green Mountain State by reserving a spot on our summer bus trip! You can expect all of the same convenience and fun of our winter bus trips. Our package includes the following: transportation to/from Vermont and to/from area attractions (exploring Mad River Valley on Saturday and the Burlington waterfront on Sunday); sandwich, fruit, cookies, wine and bottled water Friday night on the bus; breakfast Saturday and Sunday; dinner with wine on Saturday night; bag lunch and beverage on the bus ride home. Cost per trip: $210 for members and $240 for friends. The Hampton Jitney bus will leave from the following locations on Friday: Manhattan @ 6:00 PM sharp (plan to be there at 5:30) at the northeast corner of 33rd Street and 8th Avenue; New Jersey @ 6:45 PM sharp (plan to be there at 6:15) from the NJ Transit Ramsey Route 17 station (park & ride) -- meet the bus at the 1st floor pick-up area opposite the RR platform. Parking in New Jersey is available on the 1st or 2nd floor with a charge of $2 per weekend day and $4 per weekday. Reservations are contingent upon the SSC's receipt of payment from the attendee. Payment can be made by check or online via Google Checkout. Checks should be made out to the "Swiss Ski Club of New York".
