Lemon Squeeze and Eagle Cliff Trail
Pine Road Parking Lot, 10 Pine Rd, New Paltz, NY 12561
The leaves are turning, so let's get out on the trails!
This 6.9-mile loop trail with a 1,384 elevation gain is not for beginners, but looks like a lot of fun. There is some rock scrambling.
You will pass Duck Pond, the Albert K. Smiley Memorial Tower, Lake Mohonk, and Artist's Rock in addition to Eagle Cliff and the lemon squeeze. The lemon squeeze is a narrow break in the cliff line where you can squeeze the corridor to gain the top of the cliff line. The route walks along carriage paths and single-track trails.
This is an opportunity for us to stay active and have fun, and enjoy the fresh air and you are welcome to join us.
We are looking forward to seeing you.
