Long Path and Shore Loop
The leaves are falling, so let's get out on the trails!
We are going to meet on at the following location:
1 Alpine Approach Road. Alpine, NJ
This 5.6-mile loop trail near Alpine, New Jersey descends down to the Hudson River, follows the river bank, then ascends back to the ridge line to return to the meeting point. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 2 h 18 min to complete.
This is an opportunity for us to stay active and have fun, and enjoy the fresh air and you are welcome to join us.
For mass transit users, a pickup from Secaucus Junction can be arranged. You must be at Secaucus Junction no later than 9:30.

Bring plenty of water, a snack, and sun screen. Wear hiking boots or good sneakers and a hat! Be sure to check the weather day of - we will be hiking rain or shine!
