Hey! The verdict is in – the combination of fresh air and sunlight is a super healthy thing to do. Scientific Research shows that outdoor air and sunlight boosts your immune system!
So it only makes sense to Picnic with the Swiss in the Park!
Let’s catch up – we haven’t seen each other for such a long time –while enjoying the therapeutic effects of sunshine, fresh air, comradery and the beverages and food of our choice.
We’ll meet at Noon at the Angel of the Waters (Bethesda Fountain) in Central Park and walk over to the Sheep Meadow to lay out our blankets and settle in with our picnic baskets.
How to get there: Manhattanites can take a cab (a cab!!!, that’s so 20th century) Uber over for you 21st century hipsters. For all others, NJ Transit or the Path may offer the best way from NJ into the city. Bethesda Fountain is on the path – use 72nd Street entrance
What to wear: Dress for the forecast weather! (duh) This is an outdoor event. If you are staying into the evening, consider bringing a change of clothes.
What should you bring?
- A blanket/chair to sit on
