The snow has finally melted, but that can't keep us from the mountains! Join us for a scenic 5 mile hike around Harriman State Park!
The plan: Meet at Reeves Visitor Center on Seven Lakes Drive at 10:30 am ready for a 5 mile hike (approximately 3 hours).
After the hike, we will stop at Rhodes Tavern and grab lunch to-go for the ride back to NY! Check out the menu here: https://www.rhodesnorth.com/menus/lunch-dinner/
How to get there: Take the 9:14 am NJ Transit from New York Penn Station to Sloatsburg (switch at Secaucus for the Port Jervis Line - Sloatsburg stop is at 10:12 am).
Bring plenty of water, a snack, and sun screen. Wear hiking boots or good sneakers and a hat! Be sure to check the weather day of - we will be hiking rain or shine!
Please notify the reservationist at hike@swissskiclub.org if you are planning to take the train - we can arrange a carpool to Reeves Meadow Information Center from the station in Sloatsburg.
