Join us for a fabulous day at the beach on Fire Island in Davis Park – Home of the “Casino Bar and Café” Fire Island’s only Ocean Front Bar. Live Bands start playing around 2:00 pm (cover charge at the bar is usually around $5.00 Cash)
Things to do:
Take the Long Island Railroad to the Patchogue Station and walk a ½ mile to the ferry or take a cab. Best bet is to use the LIRR Beach Getaway package to Davis Park which includes train, taxi and ferry tickets for $39.50 out of Manhattan and Brooklyn, $39 out of Jamaica. You can buy these at the machines at the train stations the day you go. Check the train schedules to Patchogue and take the train that works best for you. Make sure you use the correct cab with your voucher (Lindy’s Taxi).
If you choose to Drive – parking is $20 at the ferry and ferry round trip cost $17.00 CASH Only for both! Directions can be found on the Davis Park ferry website: www.davisparkferry.com
