About

The Swiss Ski Club of New York was founded in 1939 by a group of Swiss friends. Today, our membership represents international backgrounds from all over the world.

Throughout the year, we meet regularly in the New York area, and in the Winter, we go skiing and snowboarding at our club's lodge in Waitsfield, VT, located near the Sugarbush and Mad River Glen ski areas.


We encourage new friends to meet us at our events and to come with us to Vermont.

We get together in the non-skiing months....  

Throughout the non-skiing months,  we get together to cycle, hike, climb, kayak, golf, sail, and more. From our lodge in Waitsfield Vermont, we enjoy many wonderful activities. 

In the Winter...

The Winter finds us skiing and boarding locally at our home base in Vermont and traveling around the world together.
From our lodge we are minutes away from the major Northern Vermont resorts of Sugarbush, Mad River Glen, and Stowe. We are also close to great and challenging nordic skiing, and snowshoeing.  

We get together all year round...

We have social gatherings all year round, in New York City, New Jersey, Connecticut, Long Island, Massachusetts, and Vermont. Join us.
